    Just got an 8130, to replaced my severly worn out 8830. There is no web browser on it. Updated the OS, still nothing. Is this normal, haven't switched my service to the new phone yet, could that be the problem?

    Retired Mod
    Manage Connections icon and make sure Mobile Network is
    checked off.

    options > advanced options > host routing table > press menu >
    select Register Now

    Log into VZW BIS site and resend Service Books
