    Can someone please explain to me why it is so complicated to pay via phone?

    Is it the loading of the Nfc profile in the first place that requires the secure sim card?

    I pay with Nfc for virtually everything these days already. The card has no connection to internet, but it goes through. Now I'm hearing about Nfc stickers that you can put on a key chain that pays too.

    It shouldn't be so complicated to just have an app that securely downloads the Nfc profile to the phone. No secure Sims necessary.

    What am I missing?

    The secure SIM was something that was agreed upon with carriers but slowly all that is changing. Hopefully soon all these restrictions will go away
