    Hey everyone,

Needing advice here as my Pearl 3G was retired in June, been using a HTC Mozart since then.... cant wait till Feb 2013 upgrade for a BB any longer so I will source one & keep my Orange sim on a cheap BB plan to keep my NEW PB 64GB company as a bridge/modem. I might just take a 12 month sim only deal on EE4G Oranges sister company on Monday on launch as its unlimited texts and mins & 5 roaming to use these in Europe WHOOP ! but as EE has no Blackberry service DOH ! I am getting either a sim free Nokia 920 or HTC One XL for EE.

But I still need to source a BB for Orange, requirements will be:

Touchscreen, no hybrid keypad or qwerty (these fingers are too fat & I correct almost more than I type on physical BB qwerty keys lol)

BB10 when released compatible (of course ! nothing less for my PB )

Snapdragon S4 processor (is it ?) or similar that will support HD Voice/QNX noise cancellation technology.

Lastly but no means least - UMA support for Orange UK (EE merger of T-Mobile UK & Orange has destroyed the now joint rebranded EE network for voice in my town on Orange or T-Mobile, gggrrrrr)

I'm not asking much am I ? LOL

So what are my options ? your user opinions/experiences ? Other Orange UMA users experience ? Compatible BB models for my needs ?

I've done Windows 6.0/6.5, Android for UMA aswell as Pearl and Pearl 9105 3G for UMA now on Orange & BB does the best job INDEED, just so sorry my Pearl 3G had to retire so soon before upgrade

    Thanks in advance guys....

I'd just like to add, PB rocks over my 3GS, Iplod 2 & Acer 725 NetBook even on 2,1 & all the aforementioned have now been retired to caring retirement homes now, feels good to be back BB after even a few months on the dark side more so on a ROCKING tablet !

So it will be me, Home Theatre PC, PB, EE4G mobile but which BB will you all recommend to bridge all our little family together ?

Curve 9380 all touch would be my recommendation

Its cheaper than a bold or all touch torch. Nothing fancy just gets the job done.

I'm worried about you fat fingers on the touch screen you mabey making just as many fixes

Also no current device other than the playbook will be upgradable to BB10

The Torch is the least available BlackBerry (9850/9860). Not sure if Orange has it but it is your only choice for all touch. The Torch 9810 has a good sized touch screen, and is a slider. You could just not use the physical keys.

Nope no BB10 on any current phones.

Here are the answers to the hardware questions:
BlackBerry Smartphones. Find Your Mobile Phone at BlackBerry UK

EDIT: Hmm. Looks like the Torch 9850/9860 is not even in the UK. But then there is a Curve I did not think of -- the 9380. Curves have the least powerful hardware though.

I would look at the Torch 9810 if I were you.
