i jus got my blackberry 8320 and downloaded google maps. what i wanted to know is if mty BB has gps built in...and if not how can i get my exact locatiion ? i need it because ill use the navigation primarily for walking

No built in GPS in the TMO 8320! In order to get GPS you will need a bluetooth GPS Receiver.

Google maps with "my location" is an option if you don't have gps. It only misses my location by 1 block when I'm at home. It triangulates from Cell towers. pretty slick.

It misses my house by about 3 1/2 miles.....every time

My situation is funny.
When I am at my work location it misses little less than 0.5 mile.
When I am at home it misses more than 1.5 miles.
I guess 'my location' is fine in large cities, but in smaller ones I think its worthless.
