so with the new Blackberry's coming out with more memory and processing speed will they drain the battery faster than say a pearl 8130 or curve 8330?? Or will they run better and save it?

Depending on how much you use it, more memory is more space for apps but if you don't use them it shouldn't drain your battery more.

truthfully usually with more processing power they upgrade the battery to a bigger battery.
the tour comes with the same battery as the storm as I understand..
which both have a bigger battery then the pearl..
your battery drainage mostly counts on what you use..
if you have something that is constantly using the internet and things like viigo it will drain more then without viiggo
its like a give and take situation..
the devices are usually rated for decent battery life but it fluxuates so much based on what you do..

depends on what you do and what you go on
3g kills faster
wifi also
always looking for a connection does too
leaving apps running will
so just depends
