Now that most of the promised BlackBerry 7 devices have been officially announced, which one do you plan on getting?

For a quick reference, the Bold 9900/9930, Torch 9810/9850/9860 all have the same processor and same amount of RAM (1.2GHz processor and 768MB RAM). The only difference besides form factor is really with the Torch 9850/9860 having 4GB onboard storage as opposed to 8GB and no NFC. One can assume all of them will be around $199 in the US with a contract - except maybe the Curve. COMMENT on your reasoning for your choice - if you'd like.

I believe there may be a few relatively similar posts, but I didn't see a poll. So go ahead and vote for which one you like the most and plan on getting.

EDIT: It didn't let me add the poll and I don't know how, haha...

    EDIT: Got it.

I have a Bold 9780 right now and I'm thinking of switching to the Monaco. That is the only thing keeping me from going to the SGS2 as of right now.

I like what I see from the Torch 9850. Three problems though. 1) My carrier doesn't offer it. 2) No way to hookup a BT keyboard to the device natively (like Apple). 3) No HDMI out.

I will likely be moving to iPhone 5.

9930 all the way for me. i had a torch and the slide got old quick. im not a big fan of only having a touch screen. the 9930 is the best of both worlds imo. cant wait!!

Heh, we'll wait and see on the bionic if its boot loader is locked, or not

I'm waiting to see what Apple has to offer in their iPhone 5, but right now I'm leaning towards a 9860....I think I'm ready to go full touch screen for a while.

Stuck between the 9810 and 9860 but leaning towards the 9860 because of the large touch screen. Was thinking of getting the iPhone at first but screw it now lol.

    looking at a 9810 or iphone 5.

9810 as (a) wife has a 9800 & (b) got really annoyed with my iphone keyboard, so 9810 could be the ideal aspect. I like the 9800, but if the 9810 is quicker, then it makes sense eh?

iphone 5? Well, I had to jailbreak my iphone to get the most basic of operations (personalise text alerts for example) - I feel I owe it to Apple just to see what it's like.... but I need a new phone now (contract is due end of the month) so may not be able to wait until WHENEVER Apple release '5'......

Then again, they could both be rubbish.... then I'm really fooked!!!

If the 9850 comes to VZW I'm all over it. Do we know if this is happening?

Bold 9930 on VZW. Gotta say though the extra screen real estate on the Torches really have me considering jumping to AT&T of all things! I am really hoping VZW will pick up that full touch Torch model. I'd like to try that out.

If you want a full touch screen; go with the iphone 5 or an Android. They offer sooo much more in terms of apps.

I can't see any reason to consider a BlackBerry if touch is your desired input method.

I will get the 9810 because I love my Torch....love the form factor.
Then I will get the 9900 because it will be such an awesome phone.
Then I might bet the new Curve because I absolutely love the Curve keyboard.

So....my addiction to BB will continue....

I do not plan on getting a new phone anytime soon seeing as I only got my torch five months ago, I like all the new phones coming out and I'm not upset I got my Torch before the new one because honestly I like it, and I'm not going to waste money and jump ship on a phone that is in prefect condition. If the time comes that I do need to get a new phone and there are no other newer releases of these phones i'm up in the air between the 9860 and the 9810

I will probably stick with my 8530 and buy my parents a couple of 8530s as well. It's not the latest nor greatest Blackberry, but Virgin Mobile's unlimited everything plan at $55 a month is extremely tough to beat.

Not too sound creepy or stalkish, but you look familiar. Any chance you live in Dartmouth or at least work in Burnside Park area? Don't feel compelled to answer, just curious.
