    Thought it was pretty good

I think it's done by BlackBerry because others have mentioned that at the end it has also said "AT&T" instead of "T-Mobile"

Definitely a better direction than their other commercials though, thank god.

What do you mean? It's there, for me atleast. It's not as loud as I would have hoped, I had to jump on it when I saw it come on so it's not the best quality, I hear it just fine though?

Thank you, OP! That was a pretty informative commercial. Nothing weird or abstract.. Just a decent commercial finally. The sound works perfectly fine for me too in your recording.

looking slightly better than all previously work. that Frank marketing guy was trying to be a bit too creative. What blackberry needs now is just a simple effective message delivery - "This is a new blackberry. It's great. Get it."

On the Z10 ads I've seen, most of the screen time is showing something else. My friends in the US don't even know what the z10 looks like. if you need someone to point out that "hey that ads is actually about smartphone, from blackberry!" then your message wasn't really delivered.

With all that marketing budget to burn, he's improving. At least it's better than the superbowl ads. Hope the board won't fire him now and give him another quarter to show his work.

Very nice. Simple and to the point. Thanks for sharing, OP. Maybe BB is actually listening to us - finally!

Oh they can do it.A few more of those and then some realist adverts on the street realtime stuff.Thats good bu its small stuff dtill do not understand why subscribers have not had a BB10 email telling us of new devices, products and BB moving to BB10 from BBOS.

That email alone to all the BB subscribers would do so much.

pretty good and actually shows use of the phone and features. No randomness that did everything but show features of the phone like some other commercials.

Better but not great. Looks like a carrier commercial.

Let's see an actual BlackBerry commercial that shows features.

I guess BlackBerry are listening that was one of my main issues, in the commercials and even in most early reviews the features went shown off in more detail.
    This one got it right.

Well, I'm not an expert, but this seems more on track with where they should be heading in marketing . Simple and informative is nothing like what the other companies are doing right now. Could work? I hope BlackBerry expands on this sample and runs with it.

They should not do a commercial without featuring the Time Shift setting in the camera. That is one feature that everyone thinks is cool yet it looks like it will be hidden away like BBM over the years.

    EDIT vastly improved effort though.

Yes, but also keep in mind that this is a BlackBerry Q10. They want to show you productivity the majority of the time. They can fluff up the Z10 commercials with Time Shift and such. They want to mean business with the Q10, and I think they did it quite well with the features they decided to show.

Why insist on advertising an individual device, when they could easily push the BB10 'family' (2 in the US right now) at once. Show that they are the only one to provide a consistent, fluid and practical experience in whichever form factor a user prefers.

Want a keyboard? No need to compromise on the smooth and crisp interface. Want a full touch? No need to compromise on a great virtual keyboard.

Then show both of them video and screen sharing with each other to close the spot.
