So at work, I'm know as the BB expert/guru/lover. I come into work the other day and my manager tells me he had RIM issues. I'm like alright, show me.
This is what he showed me:
Now, obviously this looks bad, but it's got a nice story that makes it even worst than it is.
We had a huge snow storm the other day, about 35cm of snow. Now obviously he was snowed in, so our store GM went to pick him up with his big lifted Dodge Ram. He had to jump the snow back that the plow had made, and his BB slipped from his holster.
It gets worst. His neighbor decided to be nice and open his driveway with his snowblower, and, guess what? He got the BB. It flew in the snow in about three pieces. Now the neighbor picked up the pieces and left it in his house 'till he got back from work.
The door was fubared, the battery was bent at about a 45 degree angle and obviously the screen was broke. When my manager got back home, he rebent the battery, tapped it in the back and charger the phone. AND IT WORKED!
Now, sometimes he needs to send me the messages he receives 'cause some parts he can't read, but in the mean time, his still waiting for the new non-touch BB for Telus.
If RIM is reading this, HE NEEDS A NEW BERRY!! HARDCORE USER!!
Shameless plug over.
Oh and all these pictures were taken with my Storm.
That's what I've been telling him for the longest time... He's been trying to get Telus to give him one for the longest time now lol.

I'm still impressed he's been using it like that for the past couple weeks... He'd go for the storm but for what he wants to use it, he needs a full keyboard.
wow... well i guess that means that RIM makes them pretty damn sturdy... just like a timex... takes a licking and keeps on ticking... or in this case... takes a beating and keeps on working...
