Other than BB10 phones coming out in Q1 2013, are there going to be any new phones coming out before then?
I'm very tempted to pick up a 9900 and I don't want to pull the trigger prematurely.
Thoughts?
My purchase won't make any difference in the grand scheme of things. BB is my device of choice as it is - RIM needs to retain other users and entice those who have left or never experienced BB.
Well I hope you enjoy your Bold 9900 I'm 3 days in to using my new Bold 9900 (came from a Samsung Galaxy S2) still a lot to learn but call quality and build is great feels so solid. I'm just hoping my battery improves a little but it's no worse than my iPhone 3gs
Not on the high end side. Just cheap a$$ Curves that they can sell $99 with prepaid plans. You may want to wait as they should be dropping Bold prices real good to clear out inventory, especially since they have nothing in the pipe for a while now.

... as that would make a lot of sense, I've been out of contract for a bit over four months now, I like the overall appeal of the Bold but the Torch 9810 price of $0.01 is hard to beat, even though it cannot match the Bold's elegance.
I have access to the Telus teamwebstore. I can get the 9900 for 5.49. Will RIM offer pricing lower than that?

Sounds like you'd like to be paid for getting a Bold, that may sound far fetched but it isn't, in the past 18 years I've been paid to get phones by two different carriers, back in circa 1994 by CellularOne and around 2000 by T-Mobile. $5.49 is a very good price though, especially for a Bold 9900.
I got the 9930 about 3 weeks ago. love this phone looks so beautiful have had no real issues just every once and awhile when i go to answer the phone it just does nothing then i have to reboot but nothing is perfect
I personally wouldn't but only because I have an OS 7 device and I am happy with it. In the meantime almost every platform is launching something interesting. From the SGSIII, HTC One S then the iPhone 5 thats due out by October. Lots to look at I think.
