Hello Everybody

Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to "dig up old blackberry's show" by a guy who started to admire blackberry's
but it's not that rich

So here's my story, i started loving bb's 2 months ago when i found about their price/cool stuff ratio
My original idea was to buy a Blackberry 9650 since it is a cheap, but great phone. Whern suddenly, i discovered
an horrible truth, the battery sucks. Nowadays, phone batteries are just so weak. It's very annoying. So much technology
and all that crap but no one can make a battery that could last 3 days. But anyways i want to choose between two phones since they look the best for my budget (no more than 200$, it's the top, and it's too much)
- Blackberry Curve 9300 3G
- Blackberry Bold 9700

I want to use it on a GSM carrier, in portugal, called Vodafone
Also i would like to know:
Are the curve keys like the curve 9320 or are they more flat and hard?

I wont use vodafones internet since i cant afford that so i plan using only wi fi.
Writing is very important since i want to message lot.
The only reason i think about the curve is because it's cheaper. So what do you think?
(Im thinking about the bold. but im not sure so i would love veterans experience)

Curve 9300/9330 is terrible. The Bold 9700 is a much better choice.

9700 or 9750 is an absoleute great choice. I kinda miss mine. Excellent battery life. And a hot phone. But may I ask why not a newer phone like even the 99xx? Price?

PRICE!!!!! defenitely price. Lately ive found good blackberrys and i would love to get one with QWERTY and touchscreen but i just cant afford that. Ok 9700 it is. They look great, i dont anything more expensive or complicated. thanks

from the choices you gave, don't even think about it, go with the Bold 9780 or 9700 those are rock solid device and battery wise are the best ever, you'll get 2 days with them.

if your choice is between the 9700 or 9300? Pick the 9700 all day and twice on Friday.

Z10 isnt the answer for everyone wanting a Blackberry, BBOS is a still a good OS, does lots of things well.

Maybe the OP is a student and cant be tied up in a contract for the next 2-3 years.

OP, just get a Bold 9780, if you cant get that model get 9700.

Well im going for the 9700. Because if i wanted a touchscreen you can damn bet that i would be buying a blackberry. My decision now is between the Curve 9320 or the Bold 9700 but i still think the bold is better.
Im sick of touchscreens! Im buying a blackberry because 3/2 years back rim used to make good QWERTY bb's. That's
Rim's business, qwerty. Of course this is my opinion... if you like the new touchscreen then please have fun but the truth is that want to write fast and feel the keyboard. I had a Nexus 1 and i loved it, but when i lost it i decided that from that day on,
i wont buy very expensive phones, they are not worth it. Bold 9700 has everything that i need with a solid price, thanks
