The Cortex A7 may appear to be a stepped up Cortex A8, which is a rather old design, but the A7 is much improved in several areas. On its own, the A7 could power sub-$100 entry level smartphones for 2013-2014 with the same processing performance as today�s $500 high-end smartphones.

Assuming that these claims can be believed: providing that either BB7 BBX can be ported; RIM could possibly make a thinner pearl with specs that are close to the 9360, at LEAST 5.5 hours battery, and at a no-contract price of under $250.

ive had my pearl 9105 for just over a year now paid �200
and i heard its got the same processor as the bold 9700

�200=$320, and the 9360 whups both the 9105 and the 9700.

I'm looking at maybe the �60-�125 range for a device superior to the current Pearl.
