    Hello,

I just purchased a used 9650 trackpad off eBay. This to be exact:Original Blackberry Bold 9650 Trackpad HDW-28499-002 - eBay (item 300510121550 end time Mar-01-11 12:26:42 PST)

My lcd is broken, but going on whether or not the keyboard lights up when i click the trackpad, the one off eBay does not seem to light up the keyboard, while my old scratched one does when replaced.

Heres the thing I am wondering, is there anything that I have to do to calibrate the new trackpad? Or is the fact that its not working definitely mean that I have a defective piece?

    thanks

    John

I've replaced my track pad and as far as I can see it is just plug in and go. No calibration necessary. Does the track pad work so far as to scroll and open icons ( the normal things a track pad should do )?
