Hey,
I just got my new BB Curve 8320, the other day, and I noticed that the dim light feature would work at the wrong times, when trying to view files. Now I've turned off the dim light feature but the LCD still looks dim and non responsive to the on/off command. I have the LCD turned on to 100%, so no problem there. Could it be a an internal problem with this BB, or could it be something that a OS update could fix provided that someone else, or RIM, has them self noticed as a problem? Sorry for the long post.
