Never seen such a blatant ripoff
Why is the voice command in bb10 a virtual clone of Siri? Is there no innovation or?

Why are you so mad at a product/feature that hasn't been officially revealed? Is there no common sense or?

Hmmmmmm ... just wondering how many ways there are to implement voice-recognition. You talk to it, it does what you tell it. Yep, I think that's about it.

There's only so much you can do with a voice-recognition system. You can't expect them to look or work vastly differently, the only real way to judge them is by the speed of responses and how well it recognizes commands.

OP,
Apple copied SIRI from BB. My 8800 running on OS4.5 had voice commands. I needed to press a button (Apple copied) to activate voice commands. It then said " Say a Command" ( Apple Copied)....I could go on but you get the point. Have you Apple fanbois completely wiped out the years before 2007 from your memory?Through the Years :2001 Ericsson T29s> Sony Z5> Sony Z7> SE Z600>Moto A760> RAZR V3>Razr V3i>BB 8800>BB 9500

Ok, so let make it so you just swear at it and it responds accordingly back to you. Don't expect to be perfect and don't push it to much cause it will swear back to you. That will be innovative, or you can make it and option. Then you can call it Swearit.

My 2005 car has a button you press on the steering wheel and tell it to put restaurants on the map or set the temperature to 74 or whatever. Who "ripped off" whom?

Considering Apple's addiction to patents I wouldn't be surprised if they turn this into a case of blatant rip-off but that would be opening another box of they did/we did. People associate mics and recording sound so no ripping off as I see it. I think BlackBerry could have used the BB icon instead but that is personal taste.
