1: you can buy an unlock service on Ebay

2: you can call att and tell them you just bought the phone and are going over seas and was told that it would work with a difernt sim card

3 you can serch around and some other ways i know option 2 workd it took 3 days for me to get 2 codes for 2 pearls at the same time

Sorry not to supply any URL with this solution but you should be able to just google it like I did. I also bought an ATT 8300 and I needed to use it with T-Mobile, as I am now so doing. All I did was google "unlock ATT 8300 Curve" and I had several hits for sites that will walk you through a quick unlock for $5 bucks. Hope this helps.
