In a few days I'm finally going to upgrade from a Curve 8520 (can't believe its already been nearly 2 years)

Thing is I'm having trouble choosing between the Curve 9320 and Bold 9790, so I thought what better way to get some help than ask you guys! *insert cheer here =>.....*

The 9320 is brandnew for about $250, the 9790 is a really good secondhand and at $200. So for those who have had some experience with 1 or both of the phones I want to know:
    How is the battery life?
Is the Keyboard on the 9790 comfortable?
How much of a difference does the higher resolution screen of the 9790 make to you?
Is the touchscreen on the 9790 really an advantage on such a small device?

I personally prefer the keyboard on the Bolds than on the Curves i myself haven't had a 9790 but i had a 9700 and boy do i miss that phone best keyboards ever, and it does alot more.. the Battery would last me a day in a half with moderate use (alot of FB and Twitter with some BBM here and there) . id say go with the bold its cheaper than the 9320 and it has full functionalities, the Curve is a lower end model of the Bold 4 months ago if someone was offering a 9790 for 200 i'd take it right off the bat, now im just waiting on the Z10.

my second opinion would be to check out the new OS BB10 and see if you'd prefer that over the legacy OS

I do want a Z10 but I don't have the money yet, I have $400 max. So I was thinking I get the best possible for the least amount I can as i keep money for the Z10. They are currently going for $1100 here, should drop to about $800 when they launch everywhere. Thank you for your input much appreciated.

Keybord on 9790 makes me feel so good! And a touch screen on this device just makes things much easier. If only the lock button could be stronger, the bold 9790 would be a perfect product in my mind.

i had a 9220 ( which is a tone down version of the 9320) and i simply loved that little runt, compared to the 9790 they are very far apart, but i have been more of a curve keyboard type than the 97xx type, **** i used to have a 9700 and hated the keyboard so bad that that i switched to a storm 2............. go figure, but that's not the point here, let me talk in perspective, comparing the 9320 to the 9790 u have to keep some things in mind: the 9320 has the biggest battery on any blackberry 7 device (1450 MaH vs 1100 Mah on the bold) the 9320 has that "lost and now found" configurable button on the left side that says bbm you cant imagine how much you miss it until is gone!, i used it for music and every time i wanted to listen to music it was not there... (now rocking a 9360 probably will switch to 9900 but that's not sure) as well the 9320 is smaller than the 9790 it really feels good in the pocket and in the hand, the 3.5 mm headphone jack is @ the top not on the side like the 9790, you would say "oh waaaaaaooo big frackin deal!" trust me when you have the device in your pocket and you r taking a call on the hands free and walking in the street is very convenient or listening to some music, it helps a lot preserving your headphones life, the side keys are the really thin type, those are not bad but they don't feel as good as the 9320's, after that, the 9790 smokes it: its faster, it has more space, more ram, **** of a lot better screen (touch @.@) and the best camera on a bb till you grab a z10, there's a lot of other things that the 9790 does better, but, again as i was telling you its the little things that make the difference i would take the 9790 just because i already kinda had 9320 they are both very capable devices just think a lot about the small diffs..........

The 9790 is a much nicer device, the only thing I would suggest is try the keyboard first as coming from another curve you may not find the bold-style on a smaller device as comfortable.

I get you there but too bad I won't have a chance to test the keyboards. I've played with the keyboard on a Torch 9800 and found it too stiff...so fingers crossed..

I haven't read much of good about the 9790 keyboard, its good to see someone actually likes it.

The small differences are what are making it hard, the 9320 feature wise seems to be a fantastic little device, the bigger battery and fm radio give me a lot to think about...but then I could get a Bold and buy an extra battery. You know what I'm now thinking of the 9900, if I can find one cheap I'm getting it, if not then I'll just get the 9790. Thank you all for your help.
