I was wondering how to remove some of the apps I have installed for my 4 year old. He's out grown some of them. I know you can delete them however I don't know how to uniatall them so they aren't taking up space in the phone. Thanks

You can check the chrome side load tool to check for traces

If you just hold and click the x it deletes
Before it often left traces in pre-10.2.1 OSes, especially for sideloaded android apps
Now it's no longer the case on 10.2.1

I'd love to know how you determined this, especially in regards to Android apps.

Yes, I'm getting 'Update Available' for Apps which I've uninstalled. They show neither as "Available" nor "Installed" in BlackBerry World.
Edit: They are Android Ports, I should add.
Edit Edit: I'm not on 10.2.1 yet and get notified of 3 updates available, yet I'm only shown the names of 2 (I'm left clueless about the 3rd)

Go to BlackBerry World, open the tab and go to 'My World' --> My Apps and Games, and then go to the Available tab. If you see anything there, they leave traces on your devices. Long press on anything there to remove them from your device completely.

As for Android ports, I have no idea how to uninstall them OTA on 10.2.1, but for sideloading, in the BlackBerry 10/Playbook Manager, it's as simple as clicking on the uninstall button to the side of an app.

By doing this, u will uninstall the whole app and if it is a paid app, you will have to pay again for that app.
By remaining the available app in cloud, you can download again the same app without paying again.

Common apps in BB10 could be deleted by press+hold and press the trashcan button on the app.

    Or

You can go to Device monitor > storage > click app and delete by pressing trash can button.
For android apps, you might need to dig deeper in file manager app > device > misc > android folder and dig in to search if there's any traces of deleted apps data in any of the files.
