I have a bb 8130 (pearl). After reading a couple of posts about not getting text messages but being able to send them.

I already deleted the movie sample and the other languages that i dont need.
I also checked my status and it says I have plenty of space.

No the problem is still here. Or if it comes through it deletes it self. So I was wondering after reading the text should I save it or what. This same thing happens with my call log.

Can someone please give me some help.

I'd say call US Cellular. It might be a network issue rather than your device.

Go to Options > Status, tell me what you have for File Free?

You also have a setting that determines how long to keep messages. I think it is in options/advanced options/sms text. If that is set to 1 or 0 your texts would be deleted. Just a thought.
