I have an old 8520 and when I started to use it the trackpad wouldn't scroll, when I pushed the battery in the trackpad magically worked for a short period of time. I took it apart and replaced the trackpad and that only fixed it for a few days, is there any other way I can fix this permanantly?

You can maybe put a business card folder over ontop the battery. It would give you enough pressure to hopefully get the TP to work
