Hi All

I have gone froma pearl 8120 to a 8800 I love the full keyboard and bigger screen just one problem the phone is second hand and to my disappointment the USB port is screwed up its looose wont charge and wont connect to my pc.

From reading on here and google i can tell its come away from the circuit board in the phone what i would like to know is where in the UK is cheap yet reliable to have this fixed, I think i can buy the part for about �4 but no way am i even attempting to take it apart as it works fine except the port it even syncs via bluetooth i just cant update the OS or charge without USB.

Yea i emailed them but it bounces back thanks thiough.
I need somewhere cheap as i already spent up on the BB and got screwed it seems but once fixed it should be all good

ebay for a external battery charger then you can charge without the port and sync using bluetooth

Yea I thought of that thanks though for the links only trouble is i cant update my OS without USB unless there is a way??

yea i have asked in there as well i think i need the usb port so waiting on some quotes now
