Hello, I am purchasing a blackberry bold that is locked to MOVISTAR for an extremely cheap price. THE PIN WORKS, and it is branded "Movistar". If i use a turbosim will it unlock the phone so i can use it on a rogers data plan, and would it ask me for the unlock code if i use a turbosim?
The SIM card will not unlock the phone. You either need to contact
your original carrier or look at a service such as BBEnriched that will
provide you an unlock code for a fee.
