    Hello,

So as the title says, I am relocating to London from San Francisco with my company for a few years. They just got me the 8830 (running on VZW) (I'm a little upset that I can only run a 4gb card tho).

Basically, I want to keep my same old US number for all of my US contacts and also have a UK number for customers and any new London birdies I meet.

Whats the best way to work this and only carry 1 phone?

As it stands right now, I still have my US number (still in SF for the next few weeks), which will work while I am in the UK. I was thinking of getting a land line in the UK (work will pay for that) and having all calls immediately forwarded to the US number.

Has anyone else here gone through the same relocation and have any advice on the best way to streamline comunication to one signle blackberry? FYI - I still have another week or so to return the 8830 and get something else...

    Thanks everyone!

what OS are you running on the 8830? 4.2.2.196 should allow to recognize 8gb

I don't know how you can do everything you want. Maybe one of our UK members can help you. Have you considered getting a WiFi device from a different provider? You can then get WiFi in your apartment in England and make UMA calls home free. Then get a UK wireless for everyday use there? I know it doesn't meet your one cell for everything, but I don't know all of your options.
