Its been a long time coming thing, but it was bound to happen. Since I can remember I have been using BBs, frmo my first 8310 to 9900, but today I officially purchased Xperia Arc S and that is my goodbye to BB world. It was a nice ride yall but its time for a change and BB doesnt seem to bring it anymore. Peace out!

So after years of enjoying the BB format you couldn't wait another 3-4 months?
Enjoy the new device! You'll be back

I don't think I'll ever understand why people bother with this type of thread

Why should we care that someone who we've never met (and never will), decides to [supposedly] change mobile devices?

Why should they waste their time telling people who don't care that they've [supposedly] changed mobile devices?

Dude, who ever you are, I too find it strange that you've hung around until now (just a few short months away from the launch of BB10), having [supposedly] gone through all the devices you mentionned... but to each their own.

    Enjoy you droid.

    Si.

Congratulations to you. I hope you've found a device that will suit you well for two years. I for one am waiting for BB10 to come out. My wife and I will be purchasing these devices.

I have just purchased a bold 9900 to accompny my playbook and I love the device. for the past 2 years I was using an iphone 4 and the only thing it is good for is games. the iphone sucks. I think even when the bb10 devices come out I think I will stick with my 9900. Besides I will have my playbook on bb10 so will have the benifits there. I just hope my 9900 will still bridge with my playbook then.

More like your salute to your own stupidity. How do you know the new BB10 phones won't bring it?

And with the record Android makers have with updating the OSes of their already sold phones, you may not get any new versions of Android running on your phone. Will you like a phone who's OS is two generations behind other Android phones?

But if he/she really want to update it, he/she most likely can, extending the life of the device exponentially.

Since you have already made your choice, good for you, Android is a pretty good platform too, especially with JB.

But please post in the appropriate thread. This is general discussion section, not an announcement section. Unless you have a point to discuss which we are all missing in your original post?

Compared to BBOS, BB10 will be extremely new and fresh. You have been on this forum 3 years. You should already know this. What's your benchmark?

If you can't deduce that BlackBerry 10 is something "New and Fresh" and that it doesn't even mildly resemble the legacy BBOS....I don't know what you've been doing on the internet all year.
