Very sound decision. Regardless what becomes of BlackBerry, BES10 will be around in the foreseeable future.
As a matter of fact BlackBerry will survive.

Our company just bought in as well. Small 57 phones in 4 countries but we had no qualms whatsoever. If they've been around since 1984 I'm sure they'll manage to figure it out. Looks like more of a perception issue. Not sure in this case perception becomes reality because the product is actually very good.

Not a bad idea. Sure there's a lot of uncertainty with the company at large, but the likelihood of their enterprise solutions and support evaporating within the next 2-5 years doesn't seem likely to me. Blackberry 's infrastructure is more important than people know and it's depended on by a lot of high level people. I wouldn't be expecting 10 years out of it, but 2-5 is reasonable, and I think your company will be alright.
