Hi guys. So here's the deal.

A few days ago I took a video from my Blackberry but by accident I deleted it. But i got it back using DeepDigger while my phone was connected to my laptop. Its their, at my videos, but it won't play. It says "The media being played is of an unsupported format." My encryption is off, and no, I did not make a backup before i deleted the video. Please help me! btw when I got it back the first time it did say VIDXXXXXX.3GP.LOCK3

Just a few things that come to mind. Does it play on your computer, and did you remove the .LOCK3 at the end of the filename? If you did and it didn't work, maybe you can try to run the video through the blackberry desktop software video converter and see if that works. Other than that I am not sure what would solve the problem.

Nog all recovered files work. Keep that in mind. It may even have a thumbnail, and still might be damaged beyond repair.

So... Your 8520 is fine, your video file is the issue.
