I wen tto sleep nd plugged my phone up to my ps3 to charge. When i woke up it had a steady red light. when i pressed the power button and it didnt not turn on. i tried taking the battery out and putting it back in to turn it on but it did not work can someone help me please? this has been happening for almost a week now

Sounds like a dead motherboard I am sorry to say. The solid red light usually indicates that the phone has totally died.

I hope that I am wrong but I have seen this twice before.
