Actually I agree with him. They focused heavily on this grid thing so it would look clean but it's unnecessary and slows you down. Just make it so the apps can be anywhere on the screen.

You'd need some thing that can make blank icons.

There are paid apps in BlackBerry World, free apps in BlackBerry World, or just sideload this bar file.

Just create one empty page if you really love to see that wallpaper of yours.
Put one invisible icon and you're done.
