Have you guys noticed that BlackBerry world has been getting more Android ports and less native app from big name 1st party developers. Just a few examples: tango messenger,winzip, Viber, etc

yeah i hate to see the lack of native dev but cant blame them really. its so easy to run an apk to bar convert and be done with it. Even if everything doesnt work

I would personally like to see more native apps, but, at least we are starting to see more big names migrate to the BlackBerry World app store

True, but in the same breath we are also getting native apps like iGrann, Whine, and Snap2chat, which in many ways are actually better than their Android equivalents.

I don't like android ports, but look at it from their side. Porting an app will take little time, minimum changes to code (they'll have to disable a function here and there). If it got enough traction, they would probably make a native app as well. Making a native at the moment seems risky because of company financial state and number of users.

Let them be here, and if they want better ratings, they will go native.

i've seen android ports go native though. I believe 9gag was android port at one point, now it's native. Opentable was def android port and now is native.
