    Do you get charged for mms without picture? I mean what if I send an MMS with only text, will it show up on my bill as an SMS or MMS?

    If it has over 160 characters then yes it will be counted as MMS

    If you actually "compose mms" then yes, it's charged on your bill as MMS.
