I have been reading about how to add speed dials to the phone app and have come to the conclusion that I'm missing the voice mail and speed dial shortcuts on
my "Calls" screen of the phone app. I've seen screen shots where these shortcuts are directly above the "All" and "Missed" buttons. Am I missing something?

It's the very first icon at the top of the screen when you're in the calls window, it says 'Voice Mail'. It's right there! Did you try scrolling?

Perhaps they aren't there, so just add them. I'm able to delete them all, including the one for voice mail.

I don't have a Z10 yet, but isn't the voice mail feature a carrier dependent function?
Meaning that maybe it hasn't been been bundled in your services as it should have been when you switched?
Or, maybe it doesn't show simply because you may not have any voice mails to show?
Not sure how it works on that device.

I wish I had a BB10 device to be able to assist more.

I can't find anywhere to add them. It's a no go in settings as far as I can see.

From the calls screen, long press on the contact or number, a menu will pop up on the right, press the little star in that menu.
