Will BB10 ever support MIDI? The Moog app and the Caustic app are great, but I really wish if they supported MIDI

I believe midi is currently available over BT though so maybe it will come with the USB host update in 10.2?

I asked Michael Clewley and here's the answer I got.

So technically developers CAN implement midi support once USB hosting is available.

    Will come.

Just ti clarify since I'm not an expert developer by any means. Does this mean we will have access to this API through the Web works tools?

Kinda, let's say HTML5 + Script langage (javascript). Those are supported by Webworks environment.
Please do note we have no clue when/if this draft will become true. In the meantime, while more complex, when USB host is ready... everything is douable.
