OK, just spent 20 minutes using the search function trying to answer this and I give up. I'll just ask the collective wisdom here instead:

I just purchased a nearly new Curve for a song from a cohort who upgraded to a Storm. I plan to "hand me down" my current Curve to one of my college kids.

I have an 8 gig MicroSD card in my current Curve that's about half full with music, video etc. Is it just a simple matter of turning on the media card setting in the new Curve menu, taking out said SD card from my old Curve, popping it in to the new Curve and viola, away I go with all my music etc. intact on the new Curve?

    Thanks!

Should just be a simple plug and play. Shouldn't be any more/less.

I went from my Bold to 8900 with zero problems. You should be ok (as long as your device can support the 8gb)

Should be easy, and the files on the card will show up whatever device it's in.
