    are there certain memory cards that will take or will not take? i have a curve 8310 and found an old 1gb micrso card that i have? will it work? i had used it on my old razr 2 phone. its a kingston. or do i just need to go buy a new one for it?

    Yes it should work. You may want to format the card while it's in your BB.

    It will indeed work in the blackberry. I never have formatted my card, its been in 3 different phones now. Never a problem.

    Just on a side note, I picked up an 8GB microSD high capacity card from san disk at Staples for twenty bucks over the weekend. There was a thread started about it last week.

    Yep, I got the same deal and a 16GB flash for 30 bucks.

    I remember paying $80 for a 64MB SD card...a few years ago that is.
