hey !i'm new to this and i'm currently not on bis or bes due to carrier problems.!!!does anyone know whether nimbuzz,im+skype and programs like that can work only on the wifi?????i really need help//...
IM+ and most non-RIM IM applications can work with generic non BlackBerry data plan. You need to go to Options - Advanced Options - TCP/IP and enter the correct APN settings for your mobile operator to use generic data plan. All the IM applications that you can download from blackberry.com will not work without BIS or BES.
