Are there any settings I can configure to NOT get this message when I have lg attachments on an email.

Also, Why can I open PDF files as an attachment but can't open them when they are stored on my phone. It tries to open as a plaintext viewer which you all know is a mess it the pdf is anything more than type. I have BBfilescout. Any other apps out there that will open these files?

The message truncated is I believe a limit of BIS. I know there is a limit on individual file attachments but there's also a limit on total message size as I've had this a couple of times and had to wait to get to a computer to open these mails.

The PDF problem will need you to install a PDF viewer app. PDFs are handled differently when sent by email as the attachment is handled by the email service which does allow you to view PDF but once it's stored on the BB it's the responsibility of a local PDF viewer to show the file and by default there isn't one installed on Blackberrys.
