Default Message received date is December 31, 1969

I can't delete a message of a received call because my blackberry curve 8330 is showing that I received it on December 31, 1969!!!

Anyone else experience this or have any advice on how to delete it or why it shows that date? Calls received before that one and after show the correct date of July 28, 2009.

What has happened is that you went back in time and called yourself but you weren't there cuz you were time traveling....lol

Just kidding, the same thing happened to a friend of mine but it was a text from me that he received on 12/31/1969. He just deleted it though. Have you tried clearing your call logs and doing a battery pull? Just a thought.

Makes you think about the phrase..."If I only knew then what I know now."

Yeah, use DM, go to back and restore, then advanced. Scroll down to phone call logs then hit clear. That might work.

Time warp. It happens commonly through cellular technology and wireless signals. It just means that someone from the past was trying to contact you ,possibly yourself.
