The 9530 Storm running S/W version 148 was working great through the Bluetooth link in the '09 Mercedes M-class. The phone book was pushed from the phone to the vehicle memory. So we know everything is or at least was compatible. However, the phone was destroyed in an unfortunate "slam it in the door" incident.
The new Storm will not permit recognition by the Bluetooth system in the vehicle. When in Discovery/Find mode, the screen rapidly switches between the menu, text and numerical keypad on the screen. It is not possible to enter the Bluetooth password.
Any suggestions for a fix or workaround appreciated.

Have you tried deleting the profile from your Mercedes?

I had sort of the same problem with my rover. I fixed it by downloading another OS. Different versions seem to have a different effect with my car. If nothing else works for you I would suggest going with a different os.
