    hi everybody,

My bb has a 1gb media/memory card which has bascially all of its space free, yet my bb is constantly low on memory (I even had it wipe all my data recently).

How can I utilise this memory card? Do I have to install programs on it to help keep the bb memory free? How do I do this???

I seriously have hardly any additional programs running on it anyway (apart from a few that I couldn't live without), and am too scared to load any new ones in case I have a repeat episode of the bb automatically deleting all my messages & settings!

Search the forums for memory optimization. Then move all media on your device (pictures, music) to the card by opening the media icon, opening the pictures and hit menu > move.

    Thanks,

Setting the reserved pictures memory to 0 gave me 3,000,000 more bytes.

I have no music/movies and a small handful of pictures that are already stored on the memory card.

Can I only store pictures & music on the memory card? Not programs?
