I just got a bb 8320, I had a Nokia e71x. What I would like to know is can I put the 8 gig memory card from the Nokia in the BB? And the BB would just use 4 gig of it?

Well, depends on the Nokia's memory card. I'm not exactly sure what it is.

Also, the BB would use whatever remaining space there is on the memory card.

EDIT: I see now that the e71x also uses microSD. But aside from that, I don't see how you would make it so the BB only uses 4 gb of it.

Ya the BB would use whatever space is available. But some cards cant be formatted after being in a diff device. Hope it works for you but I was sold a 2GB sandisck micro sd card from another BB(Pearl I believe) and it does not work in my 8350i.

save all the media files to your PC, then put it in the berry, format it and download your saved media files back onto your card via DTM

Thanks everyone yeah I formated the card in the bb and it works, I just had pictures and songs on it but I had alot of doubles in everything so now I can make a fresh start.....thanks again....
