...but what happened to BB themes? I originally joined CB in order to download some free themes. My last BlackBerry device was the Bold 9900 using Adorno's Night Clouds theme. After using a flurry of different platforms for a year, I've decided to come back to BB with either the Classic or Passport. I'm getting caught up with the "new" OS and I just noticed that I don't see any info about themes for it.

Where'd they go?? If they aren't available on BB10, would you want them to come back?

No themes on BlackBerry 10. The OS as I understand it is designed to prevent theming.

I use to brag to some of my iPhone family users how I could have it my way on my 9900 due to themes but that is now gone as well .

Doubt it. IOS is now the enterprise choice for mobile that blackberry needs to combat. IOS is not themable, at least not to the degree BBOS was. Enterprise which is what's important to BlackBerry, is not clamoring for being able to theme. My guess. Could be wrong. Yeah.

You could see use cases for both:

Give the phones or the enterprise workspace the Corporate Identity look of you company...
OR
prevent users from wasting time on themes or make an unprofessional impression with pink bars, fancy fonts, flower pics or whatever...

Also, it will reduce OS complexity and use of resources, which is good.
I wouldn't mind the option, but I'm not too much into it. Some customizations or usability improvements by being able to set colors for certain elements, that would be welcome... :-)

Seemed to me BlackBerry initially avoided it to help devs. Provide a predictable environment.
