    Your profile there says you have an 8830, but you're inquiring about an 8320 curve. If you have a curve then you do NOT want do download and install an OS from an 8830 forum sticky. You will screw up your phone.

    thank you very much for your kind reply -it was stupid of me to select the wrong model in my profile-sorry about that. I am not very technically minded and am nervy of anything complicated tht might muck up my new toy which is working OK- hard experience has taught me that trying to make OK better often makes OK worse, so I am not sure I am up to doing anything with the OS
