    Hi,
I am new to the BB world. So please guide me on this dump question of mine.
I have a 8220 and neither do I have a GPS plan nor a internet plan.

My question is, if I download/install the BB map or Google map to the my BB, does it store all the maps locally on the BB or does it get the map/route only when requested. ?
The answer of this question might help in this next question too..

I am guessing that if I access the map from home, it may get it from my home wifi connection.

What will it do if I want to get a route to a destination, while I am driving ?

As I said, this may be odd/dump question.
    Any thoughts ?
    Thanks
    SJ

You will have to have a data plan for Google Maps and BBMaps to be able to download maps. If wifi is available, Google can use it, but it won't work unless you have a data plan. I don't know about BBMaps. I don't have a wifi BlackBerry. I'm basing my answer on this post by sunkast: http://forums.crackberry.com/f41/goo...estion-103039/
