Has anyone else has problems making calls using contacts? Yesterday I had to power down my phone and hard reset because every time I tried to call someone it showed as "taxi" and then I couldn't make a call....got a "sim not detected" error

Something similar happened to my fianc�e the other day. She kept trying to call her brother and when she would tap on his name to expand the info it would display my sister's info :s All I did to fix it was do a hard close of the contacts app (minimize the app, press and hold the little "x" in the lower right corner) and when I reopened it, all was better lol

As for the sim not detected error, haven't had one of those in a loooooong time, probably back to my Bold 9700 days, and I'm pretty sure back then it was due to a loose sim. Instead of rebooting the phone, try either toggling the airplane mode switch or the mobile network switch. Either one should force the phone to reconnect to the network.
