I'm getting ready to by a BB curve, and I currently own an ancient mac. Is it possible to load files (mp3, ebooks, etc.) directly on a SD card and install the card in the BB, then use, and or move the files as required. It's work intesive and clumsy, but it's cheaper then buying a new computer.
Yes, you can. Once you put a memory card in, when you plug your BB into your Mac, you'll get a message asking "do you want to enable mass storage support?" Click Yes and a drive icon will show on your Mac Desktop. From there you can copy whatever you want, and then move/use them however you want.
