So I was listening to this Lupe Fiasco interview on YouTube where he was talking about his album, news, and various other subjects.

For those of you that don't know, Lupe Fiasco is an American rapper from Chicago who is famous for songs like Kick Push, Show Goes On, Words I never Said, Around My Way, Superstar, etc and is basically a rapper who actually has substance in his music.

Anyway, towards the end of the interview, the reviewer asks him "this or that" questions and this comes up:

Interviewer: iPhone or Android?
Lupe Fiasco: Neither!
Interviewer: What you got BlackBerry!?
Lupe Fiasco: BlackBerry all day! I'm riding until the wheels-until the screen falls off!

I love how my favorite artist is a BlackBerry user lol and I find it funny that after he dismissed iPhone and android windows phone wasn't even an alternative. It's true...I saw the interview also. In that same video, seem to remember him making a statement about "riding till the wheels fall off" or something like that. I was wondering if he meant he won't get a new phone until it's completely nonfunctional, or if he's going to be faithful to RIM until they no longer exist.

Inside I was hoping it's the latter.

I would probably use Strange Fruition or ITAL, those are my favorites but the whole album is good. Damn I should've had my BB out when he signed my Food and Liquor II album lol

Lol yea I love that song its hilarious how he talks about materialism in general. He also goes on to talk about things like Nike and McDonalds and how people buy things strictly to show off.

I saw this video too! I had to rewind it make sure I heard correctly! lol I love that he uses a Blackberry. I've always respected Lupe because he's not afraid to be himself or speak his mind, no matter if its unpopular opinion.

hahaha! Im a true Blackberry Addict! I actually spotted this when I saw the ad on television. I always notice 9900's these days because they stand out in a sea of iPhones and Androids
