    Sorry for the newbie question.
I recently ran low on memory on my Pearl, but before I realized it I had synced up with Outlook. The bottom line is that I lost several memos from MemoPad and they're gone from Outlook also.

I've looked through my archives, but can't find them. Is there anywhere else i should look?

What can I do to prevent this from happening again. I know that I need to keep a closer eye on my memory. Is there an application to replace MemoPad?

When was the last time you backed up your device?!

    Restore from a backup

I've never heard of low memory causing Memopad files to be lost. Look in the deleted files folder in Outlook to see if they are there.

    Thanks.
    I'm a dummy - haven't backed up ever. I'll do it now.

They're not in the deleted files folder (found one file that I had deleted on purpose, but no others).

Hum. MemoPad stores its files in device memory, so I suppose it's possible to lose them to low memory. I just never read of it. There is a MemoPad replacement called NotePad (I think; google it) that stores its files on a microSD card if you have one. You could take a look at that as an alternative.
