I Love it. I also use goog 411 with my phone (also a voice command). I am scared that I am becoming to lazy to dial. What else will I be too lazy to do soon.
I've tried it a few times and results were mixed. I once tried telling it to call "Goog Four One One" and it started dialing regular 411. I never reached for the phone so damn fast. Since then changed it to just "Google"
Blegh...I could never get the blasted thing to work enough to set it up. Will probably delete it later today now that I know it frees up memory hehe...
I've used voice dialing a few times, and find that it always dials the correct number, so I think it's useful to not have to find a contact and dial especially when driving...
I only use it in the car with my bluetooth. It is usually accurate unless I don't speak clearly. I also found it works much better when you use both first and last names for your contacts. Wouldn't be without it in the car.
I like it. No training necessary to make it dial the names. I got used to voice dialing on a Motorola V710 that didn't require any training either. Using it with a Jawbone BT, the BB never has to come out of the holster. Also like the fact that you can specify calling at Work or Mobile in a single statement.
Give it a try and with a little practice, you will like it.
I've used the Voice Signal software before on my Razr and Razr2 and I like it. Usually use it when I have my Bluetooth headset on and driving in the car.
Works perfect for me. Never had a problem although I rarely use it. I don't know why but I can't bring myself to remove it. It's one of those "you never know, maybe i'll need it and wont have it" kinda things.
Sometimes I have to butcher the pronunciation to get it to work. If I call that person often, I can get into the habit of mispronouncing their name. Not good.
