So as a child of the 80's (and 70's) I am irrationally excited that Dallas and JR Ewing is back on my TV. I have fond memories of sitting on my grandfathers knee watching Dallas. Of course I have an eye for tech so I have been looking at the phones used.

The younger set (Elena, Christopher and John Ross) are using iPhones. However I am pleased to say that Bobby, his wife Anne, and Christopher's wife Rebecca are using OS 7 devices. Two 9900's and a very nice lingering close up of a white 9810 to be exact.

It's nice to see a show where not just one company is represented. Thought peeps would be interested, and bonus points for those who know who JR, Bobby, Christopher and John Ross are heh.

That's how it should be.. Every device should have it's own characteristic rather than compete for the same goal.

The consumers are just taking the manufacturers for a ride with the whole 'I want everything on my device' and honestly no one is going to object this.. But oems should not fall for this and make what they believe is true for the market.

I noticed the same thing. In fact, I still see a lot of BB devices on TV and in major Hollywood productions. Looks like the "tinseltown" folks haven't caught on to the fact that (according to some) BB is now yesterday's news. Or maybe they're all still hung up on Kim Kardashian and think that using her favorite phone will somehow give them a shot at landing her on their "casting couch."
