Yesterday I posted the question on how to get rid of the firewall settings that prevented third party apps. I have spent probably 5 hours with no luck
in removing it. Now when I restored my info from my desktop I lost my browser icon on the screen. Any solutions?

First of all, are you using your Berry on BES??

The only thing I know that can block out third party apps is an IT policy. There is a guide in the HowTo section to remove a policy

The following command will normally bring back your browser icon after a restore: Options/Advanced Options/Host Routing Table/Menu/Register Now

OK I went into Services Status and it says Blackberry internet service not connected. How do I get it to connect, reinstall the desktop manager?

did you check manage connections? is your network connection set to on???
