Lost previous calls and SMS

Yesterday my call list and sms list was erased somehow. I don't believe I did this myself. This happened after I rebooted the phone following a flight. I have had a few calls since then and none are being recorded on the call list now- it is staying empty. Any ideas how this happened? I have a ATT Curve 8320. Thanks...

I didn't realize it was a memory issue, but now I remember I did get a "low memory" message before my flight. Thanks alot!
